We represent clients in connection with the drafting, negotiation and enforcement of employment contracts. We have been involved in representing clients with respect to a broad range of contractual provisions, including severance provisions and other provisions relating to termination of the employment relationship, compensation (sales directors and brokers in real estate industry) and provisions relating to an employee’s ability to work for a competitor of a former employer (restrictive covenants or “non-compete” provisions). The rights of employees are protected and defined in both Federal and State Law. Our firm focuses on the representation of midlevel and upper level management in all employment litigation. We also assist employers in enforcing contractual non-competition and confidentiality provisions including moving for injunction relief. Finally, we prosecute and defend discrimination cases based upon race, sex, age or gender/sexuality in State and Federal Court.
